From the photo, I'm fairly confident that is a butterfly , not a dragonfly.
It most distinctive features are the orange-yellow and black wings, with broad black marking along the edges and pale or white spots within the black areas. Its overall shape and wing pattern suggest that it belongs to the family Nymphalidae ( brush-footed butterflies), particularly a group of orange-and-black butterflies such as Lacewings or their close relatives.
However, I would not claim 100% certainly from these photographs alone
I picked up of National Geographic for the first time in a very long while. It costs 170 baht an issue now-pretty expensive!
After finishing it, I suddenly felt like becoming an explorer myself. And of course, the best place to start is my own backyard.
I want to get closer to nature and find some time to relax. No matter who you are , stress is something we all have to deal with.
I came across this little creature in my backyard, and it was incredibly beautiful and immediately caught my eye. It's the rainy season in Thailand now, so there are insects everywhere-butterflies , bees, dragonflies, caterpillars, and many more.
I don't live in the city, so these are kinds of things you can see around my home everyday
I think this little backyard exploration is going to be fun, and I'd like to keep doing it.
