My post article before about irrigation canal for agricultural. ( Agricultural garden beside irrigation). Today, I will take you to the Mun Bun Dam. The second dam upstream of Khon Buri district. The distance from my home is 40 kilometers.

Mun Bon Dam is a dam made of clay and granite. Water storage capacity 141 million cubic meters. The second largest, after Lam Chae Dam.

Mun Bon Dam is surrounded by mountains near land Lam Chae Dam. Lam Chae dam is the largest in Khonburi. Water storage capacity is 275 million cubic meters.

The Mun Bon Dam is not a single reservoir. this place service travel a bird watching site, rafting tours, boating sports, or freshwater beach or picnic families on holiday. But the tourist most will come to swim or speedboat.

Khonburi dam is a benefit for Khonburi people however, they had been destroyed environments  such as garbage waste, foam boxes, plastic bags caused by bad habitat from Thai tourists, clearing wash of private car cause that soot dilute into the river , and ecological damage environmental.

If someone want to taste durian Khonburi must be ordered directly from the gardener because the current durian Khonburi not enough and Inadequate market demand.

Geography District Khonburi Nakhon Ratchasima Located in the Northeast of Thailand are hot weather, arid and the landscape is a plateau. It is not suitable for growing aquatic plants and moisture like durian tree. 

The mainstream of consumerism and agricultural product priceless. Farmers solve the problem by planting other crops agriculture , cassava, sugarcane, corn, rambutan. Last year I rented land for farmland and ended land lease in March 2017. The landowner and I agreed not to rent the land again because of rice sales losses.The price of rice is 5 baht per kilogram, which is the lowest price in the past 5 years. Even though I received 1000 baht from the government farmer's aid scheme, I rented 4 rais of land. So I got all the money 4000 baht. I am totally discouraged I had decided that resigning my land lease. If I am only a farmer And definitely I can't lived. Because I still have many careers my was survive.

The landowner was looking for a new tenant, he had found a man sugarcane farmer. They have to plant sugarcane for 5 years in the land lease price of 2000 baht per square. 

Sugarcane prices are guaranteed by law prices. Do not exceed the threshold. Sugarcane farmers do not suffer from low agricultural prices (I do not know the exact price).

New landlord I have known each other for a long time, he living in the same village. He cultivates sugar canes, cassava, rice. Etc. so called him really farmer. 

It is a very coincidental of growing rice change into sugarcane. The rotated crops plants is very good because it reduces the number of insects and pests. Reduces chemical usage and reduces costs.
